Arts Council England

Arts Council England is  the national development agency for the arts, we work to  get great art for everyone by championing, developing and investing in artistic experiences that enrich peoples lives by supporting a range of artistic activities from theatre to music, literature to dance, photography to digital art, carnival to crafts.

Why we support this project
As we all know, the arts play a very important role internationally, they are powerful contributors to culture, and they contribute to the success of the economy and the creative industries.

We want the excellence of the arts in the UK to be recognised abroad and we want to contribute to international cultural debate and dialogue.

Our international policy is artist-led and our priorities come under the clear categories creative individuals, world-class organisations, and overall growth of resources and opportunities.

Our aim is to: enable artists and arts organisations to use an element of our funding for work outside England, to develop strategic partnerships in Britain and overseas to work with us as advocates for international exchange and to share information and thinking.
